Land Disturbance and Grading Permit

Code requirements

Millcreek Municipal Code Title 17 requires Land Disturbance and Grading Permit as described below:

17.22.040

Every person will be required to obtain a land disturbance or grading permit from the Public Works Director or designee in the following cases: 

  1. Land disturbing or grading activity generally affecting one or more acres of land; 
  2. Land disturbing or grading activity affecting less than one acre of land if the activity is part of a larger common plan of development affecting one or more acre of land; 
  3. Land disturbing or grading activity affecting less than one acre of land, if in the discretion of the Public Works Director or designee such activity poses a unique threat to water quality or public health or safety; 
  4. The creation and use of borrow pits; or 
  5. Processing earthen materials such as top soil and gravel screening.

To apply for a Land Disturbance and Grading Permit please complete the following fallible PDF, print and bring to the Engineering Department at City Hall, located at 3330 S. 1300 E. Millcreek, Utah 84106.
