PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Millcreek will assemble in a public work meeting and regular meeting on Monday, 10 August 2020 at City Hall, 3330 S. 1300 E., Millcreek, Utah 84106, commencing at 5:30 p.m. for the work meeting and 7:00 p.m. for the regular meeting. Please see additional note below.*

2.1 Discussion and Consideration of Ordinance 20-45, Amending Title 5 of the Millcreek Code of Ordinances, by Amending the Business License Fee Schedule, Adding a Disproportion Fee Schedule, and Other Related Matters
2.2 Public Hearing on Truth in Taxation on Proposed Property Tax Increase. Millcreek is Proposing to Increase Its Property Tax Revenue. As a Result of the Proposed Increase, the Tax on Property May Increase as Follows:  
- MILLCREEK Tax on a $467,000 Residence Would Increase from $460.02 to $472.86, Which is $12.84 Per Year.
- MILLCREEK Tax on a $467,000 Business Would Increase from $836.40 to $859.75, Which is $23.35 Per Year.
- If the Proposed Budget is Approved, MILLCREEK Would Increase Its Property Tax Budgeted Revenue by 2.78% Above Last Year's Property Tax Budgeted Revenue Excluding Eligible New Growth.
All Concerned Residents are Invited to Give Comments. 
2.2 Discussion and Consideration of Ordinance 20-39, Adopting a Final Budget, Making Appropriations for the Support of Millcreek for the Time Period Beginning July 1, 2020 and Ending June 30, 2021, and Determining the Rate of Tax and Levying Taxes Upon All Real and Personal Property Within Millcreek

3.1 Discussion and Consideration of Ordinance 20-40, Rezoning Certain Property Located at Approximately 3646 S. Viewcrest Circle from R-1-10 & R-1-21 (Residential Single-Family) to Only R-1-21 (Residential Single-Family) with Two Zone Conditions that Limit Animals to Household Pets and Prohibit the Use of Short-Term Rentals

Public Comment Policy and Procedure: The purpose of public comment is to allow citizens to address items on the agenda. Citizens requesting to address the Council may be asked to complete a written comment form and present it to the City Recorder. In general, the Chair will allow an individual two minutes to address the Council. A spokesperson, recognized as representing a group in attendance, may be allowed up to five minutes. At the conclusion of the citizen comment time, the Chair may direct staff to assist the citizen on the issue presented; direct the citizen to the proper administrative department(s); or take no action. This policy also applies to all public hearings. Citizens may also submit written requests (outlining their issue) for an item to be considered at a future council meeting. The Chair may place the item on the agenda under citizen comments; direct staff to assist the citizen; direct the citizen to the proper administrative departments; or take no action.
