Notice is hereby given that approximately 1.0 acres of real property located at or near 3179 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, Salt Lake County, Utah has been declared surplus through Ordinance 22-47, adopted by the City Council on November 14, 2022. The City Council has determined that the parcel is a significant parcel of real property as defined by Millcreek Code of Ordinances and that the minimum bid for such property shall be $1,750,000 and that the highest and best economic return to the City shall be based on public policy factors which will be used to evaluate responses to a Request for Proposals issued by the City, for proposals to develop the Property. Public policy factors include a development that will be complementary to the City Center, contribute in a significant way to the City’s economic viability, transition appropriately to the adjacent residential neighborhood, and complement the aesthetics and vitality of the Highland Drive corridor.
