Yes. Regardless of receipt of the renewal notice the business is responsible to maintain a valid City business license.
When a completed online application is submitted, a payment link will be sent to the email address provided on the application. Once all fees are paid the application will be forwarded to the Planning Department for review and approval. After receiving Plannings approval a checklist will be emailed outlining which departments must be contacted to inspect and approve your business location before a business license can be issued.

Yes. When your business license is issued it is issued to the address on your application, there moving to a new address void your business license. Moving to a new location will require you to submit a new application so new inspections & a new license can be issued.

The City receives many complaints from neighbors of rental property and issues have also been observed by Unified Police and City Code Inspectors which, in turn, expends more city resources to enforce ordinances; therefore, the City is requiring that all rentals be registered for ease of finding the owner and requesting code compliance.
